November 23-26: Aberdeen, Thanksgiving, and Crunch Time

Catching up on Studies

After all that fun with my mom, I had a lot of work to do, and my end-of-the-semester papers were coming up! It was time to buckle down.

St Andrews libraries are the best libraries - busts in every window, and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling books and decor.

Study motivation - very important!

Serious lab report time, with tea, blueberries, and crayons!

Elderflower tea keeping me on task :)

Aberdeen

Through a series of inconvenient events, which were completely my own fault, I needed to go to Aberdeen, despite the fact that I had a lot of work to do. However, "An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered," so I packed up my homework and a good attitude, and I really enjoyed my day trip up north.I'm really glad that I got the opportunity to do a little more traveling. I wouldn't have sacrificed the time by my own decision, so it was kind of a blessing in disguise that I had to go.

The train ride up was gorgeous.

Aberdeen, "the stone city."

I just wandered around the city for a bit.

It's cool when you get far enough north that there's celtic translations under the English signs.

Thanksgiving

A very sweet family from my church invited my roommate and I over for thanksgiving, and it was really delightful. A lot of people from my church attended, and I had a very fun time.
